Dr. Mohamed Raafat is an economist and academic with extensive experience in economic research, public policy, and higher education. He holds a PhD in Economics from Cairo University, with a research focus on social spending and inclusive growth, and has a strong academic background in economic development, macroeconomics, and sustainability. He works at the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) of the Egyptian Cabinet, where he contributes to policy analysis, international cooperation, and socioeconomic reform initiatives, and also lectures in economics at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport and the Egyptian Banking Institute.
